2nd NF Hackathon results

The NF-OSI ran the 2nd ever NF Hackathon in San Francisco this past September. During this collaborative scientific event, participants explored genomic, drug screening, imaging, and other data for NF1 and NF2, and presented their findings at the Annual NF Conference. You can see a wrap up of the event, including project summaries, the data used, and a Twitter summary. Thanks to all of the participants, mentors, and organizers!

Paper highlight: Engaging a community to enable disease-centric data sharing with the NF Data Portal

Members of the NF-OSI recently published a commentary in the journal Scientific Data, describing the current approach we are taking to data sharing, the community of stakeholders in this initiative, and our plans for the future. Read the commentary.
